CSA SHARE PRICING FOR THE 2026 SEASON:

The Two Adult Household share is on a sliding scale from $625-$725. (The share per week is just $27.20 at the base price).

The One Adult Household share is on a sliding scale from $470-$600. (The share per week is just  $20.44 at the base price). One Adult shares are limited due to limited space in the parking lot and the farm budget.

WHAT'S THIS SLIDING SCALE ALL ABOUT?

First and foremost, If you made it to this page we want you to pull the trigger and buy a share. Please feel comfortable paying $625 for a Two Adult Household Share at just $27.20/ week if that is what you can afford…

…if you can afford more we would appreciate you considering paying between $625 and $725 to help us cover our rising expenses, provide a living wage for our employees, and keep our base price lower for our community members that can not afford to pay more . The sliding scale option provides you an opportunity to pay more for the share if you feel you can afford the extra cost and you feel good about paying a bit more. We are dedicated to paying our employees well and are happy to say that many of our members have contributed a little more over the past few years to keep the base price down.  The simple fact is that farming with hand labor is expensive. The sliding scale continues to be a great way for us to pay a living wage for our employees and keep the base price of our CSA affordable for our community without jeopardizing the quality and care that go into our farming operation.

The CSA is also about Community. We emphasize at our farm that 'You don't pick up your ‘CSA.’ You pick up your 'CSA share'. You are part of the community in this agreement. We provide fresh produce grown from healthy soils, a space for you to get out of the ‘digital’ and enjoy our natural surroundings, a large u-pick to enjoy including thousands of flowers, and 23 weeks of delicious produce for you to choose from. Your CSA price pays for the whole service that we provide. If the value of the food is worth the share price…great! If just the flowers are worth the price..great! If just the experience is worth the price alone…great! Or maybe you see the value of the whole package and decide you can afford to contribute a bit more than the base price.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SINGLE ADULT HOUSEHOLD SHARE?

Itemized vegetables including tomatoes and garlic

Access to u-pick crops

Invitation to farm events

An invitation to come to the farm for family or personal recreation - walks, picnics, etc.

A Sweet Land Farm bag for new members

Note: The only difference between the Single Adult Share and the Two Adult Share will be that the Single Adult Share receives a half a bag of vegetables every week. The itemized limits will be the same as the Two Adult Share ie. you will receive the same amount of tomatoes and garlic. The u-pick limits are the same as well as the invitation to farm events and access to the farm.

Another important note: The Single Adult Household Share is not a half share. It is not for two adults. If another adult is in your household and they 'do not eat vegetables' or have another source of vegetables this share is not for you. If you have two adults in your household I would hope you would purchase the two adult household share and help us cover the true cost of sustainable farming. We are in this together, the cost of the CSA share covers the expenses of the farm. That is how it is priced. We work hard to keep the share affordable and are committed to investing in soil fertility and paying our employees a living wage.

SNAP PAYMENTS AND SCHOLARSHIP FUND
We are excited to announce that we will be accepting Snap payments for CSA shares. We can do that in person at the farm now and hopefully by the beginning of the farm season we will be able to accept Snap Payments online! If you would like to purchase a CSA share and use Snap payments please proceed to the ‘Snap Payments and Scholarship Fund’ Page on this website.

We are also starting a Scholarship Fund to help members that may not be able to pay the base price. Our long term yearly goal is to raise enough funds to subsidize half of a CSA share for a family that can use financial assistance. We will start out with the intention of raising $3000 to provide $100 towards 30 CSA shares. If we raise more money we can increase the goal to $200 per share and then $300 per share. You can find out more info and make a payment the the fund on our ‘Snap Payment and Scholarship Fund’ Page of this website.
